Holyhead Safer Drinking Scheme - Planning a Night Out

You go out to have a great night and to get home safely. Most people who choose to visit Holyhead do just that and here are some simple tips.

You know how you are going to get into town, but do you know how you are going to get home?

We will book a taxi for you if you ask us early enough in the evening, or you can book one yourself. Book it at least an hour before you need it, asking for a taxi 20 minutes before the end of the evening will increase your chances of getting one on time and not waiting... so you can have a great evening and have transport from door-to-door. If you are not sure where you intend to be at the end of the night, book the taxi when you come out and arrange to meet it at a fixed location, and try to get there at least 10 minutes early- you don't want someone to pinch your cab. The main numbers* in the town are Dial a Cab Taxis on 01407 762020, Anglesey Cabs on 01407 764046 and Alphacabs on 01407 765000
